Keys To the City, Concept Work

In this punk-packed adult animation, a girl named Rosewood and her roommate Thistle have a key item - literally. After Rosewood barely manages to steal an experimental ‘technology’ that morphs her loose cigarette and key into a giant sword before fusing to Rosewood as a tattoo, she unwittingly becomes involved in a corporate conspiracy with an unknown goal.

Rosewood and Thistle work the first few episodes to avoid the corporate entity, Scrapling Inc., who trying to find their lost investment. At the mid-point of the first season, the leader of an underground movement reveals that Rosewood and Thistle aren’t the only ones finding the ‘technology’. And as time goes on, the question becomes: Did the corporation actually make these items solely to lock their place in the city, or does the ‘technology’ even belong to Scrapling Inc.? Find the answer through boldly-lined animation, action-packed story, and occasional crude humor in Keys to the City.
